Love Your City Theater began as an outreach of Trinity Church, created to show practical love to the Cedar Hill community. While the church invested in local food banks, schools, and volunteer efforts, one member felt inspired to build something more - a thriving arts community that could also give back.

 

That vision led to the inaugural production of Annie, where the directors set out to create a warm, welcoming environment for local talent to grow, shine, and share high-quality theater with the community.

 

Since then, LYCT has produced large-scale summer musicals each year, along with smaller Spring and Winter holiday shows. With every production, a portion of ticket sales is donated to support local nonprofits - keeping the heart of service at the center of everything they do.
